Harmattan winds

Done for Carpe Diem

In imitation of a haiku writing technique dubbed "mixing up". Here the haiku action leaves the reader in a state of subtle confusion, as to who is doing the action, nature or the persona. You may  be right to call it application of ambiguity in haiku.

end of winter

of lettuce seeds

  1. I really love this haiku...I had to look up harmattan, to understand this image and in the same process I learned something new about Africa.

  4. The Harmattan i had never heard of, so i had to look it up. With that knowledge of being it a kind of dry wind i could consider the scene ... and it is a real beauty in which you have mixed the scenes in an amazing way ... thanks my friend.
